Nancy Gibbs, managing editor of TIME, will speak to students in Classes VII–XII at a special assembly this Friday, October 24. The first woman ever to hold her position at TIME, Ms. Gibbs will give a short presentation on her experiences as a woman in media, after which she will be interviewed on a variety of topics by Spectator editors Stella Porter '15 and Julie Coleman '17.
In anticipation of #GivingTuesday, model, activist, director, producer, and mother Christy Turlington Burns will speak to Nightingale students on November 5 about her ongoing philanthropic work and the experiences that led to her creation of an international nonprofit organization.
