Students in Class VI through Class VIII have the opportunity to serve as Counselors in Training (CITs), where they spend half of their days working with younger campers in a leadership role and the other half participating in an organized elective of their choice. CITs develop the work ethic and responsibilities that come with having their first job while becoming mentors to Lower School campers. The Sunny Days CIT program has a rich history of cultivating our next generation of educators—many of our graduates have later pursued careers in teaching.

CIT electives include City Sports Boot Camp, Paparazzi, Documentary Filmmaking, and Musical Idol

“When I recently asked one of my daughters what she liked most about Sunny Days, her answer was simple: ‘Everything!’”
