On October 12, 2011, our community gathered to share memories and to dedicate a special bench in Central Park in honor of Karen Dressner, our beloved science teacher, colleague, and friend, who passed away last January. The bench sits on the pedestrian path just south of the East Meadow in Central Park, at 97th Street and Fifth Avenue.
