Students Visit Faculty Member in "Porgy and Bess"

Roosevelt André Credit, director of Nightingale's Gospel Girls choir, is starring in the new production of Porgy and Bess, which is currently playing on Broadway. A group of students, faculty, and staff attended a preview performance on Sunday, January 8, to see Mr. Roo, as he's affectionately known here in the schoolhouse. Afterward, the group was able to meet and speak with Audra McDonald, David Alan Grier, and a number of other cast members on the stage of the theater. 

Porgy and Bess opens officially on January 12 in the Richard Rodgers Theater. More information at www.porgyandbessonbroadway.com.
