Indoor Track and Field Posts Top Performances at Ivy Meets

Nightingale's indoor track and field team has been having a phenomenal season filled with stellar performances, including multiple first-place finishes and a new Ivy meet record!

On December 7, 2011, the 4x400-meter relay team—comprised of Sarah Van der Elst, Caroline Langan, Emma Chesley, and Margot Corper—set a new Ivy meet record with a time of 4:28.77. In the three Ivy meets held since the start of the season, the Nighthawks have garnered over 30 top-five finishes, 12 of which were first-place awards. Individual first-place finishers so far this season include Sarah van der Elst (600m), Sasha Whittle (1000m), Anna Jurew (1000m and 1600m), and Charlotte Diamond (55m).
