The bonds joining Nightingale-Bamford alumnae transcend time and geography, with graduates spanning 23 countries and six continents.
Nightingale supports our network of strong, independent women by providing opportunities for graduates to remain connected to the school and each other. Through hosting and supporting a diverse set of events—ranging from Reunion to informal gatherings, lectures, career panels, and performances—we work to connect our vibrant alumnae community in ways that are meaningful to them.
A letter from the Alumnae Board President
Dear fellow alumnae,
Though the schoolhouse has changed over the past few years, the core values of Nightingale remain strongly intact. I hope you will explore the many ways you can stay connected to the school, and learn about the exciting initiatives underway.
The Alumnae Board has been working hard to keep you connected to Nightingale, with subcommittees to helm the different responsibilities that are critical to the success of our alumnae network: reunion and events; school relations; and the annual fund. Our student reps, Ally and Annabelle from Class XII, are integral to helping build relationships between past and current students. I am grateful for such a dedicated group of volunteers.
I hear great stories of Nightingale alumnae connecting with one another across class years, making new friendships and providing career opportunities in the process. Don’t forget to share your news with the school—we all love hearing what’s new in The Blue Doors. And I hope to see you at an upcoming event, including Reunion 2019—a must for years ending in 4 and 9!
Wishing you all the best,
Amanda Potters Schumacher '95, P'31
