As part of the online application process, after you submit your application you will have the option to choose online scheduling for your various appointments, or choose to be contacted by the admissions office to schedule.  According to ISAAGNY rules, appointments may not be scheduled until after Labor Day.  If you choose to schedule online through the application portal, you will have to sign back in after Labor Day to do so.

Parents of Kindergarten applicants will be asked to schedule a parent only tour and interview, as well as schedule a playdate for their daughter.  Other available events (completely optional) for parents include a forum with Head of School Paul A. Burke and Head of Lower School Rebecca Urciuoli, as well as a Lower School open house and a diversity open house.

Middle and Upper School applicants will tour the school with their parents and have an individual interview with a member of the admissions team.  Candidates must schedule a date to come in for assessment work in math and English, and they have the option of attending a Middle and Upper School open house and a diversity open house.

3. Request your daughter's school records

Request that your daughter's current school send school records directly to Nightingale.  The school records request form will be available through the online application checklist.  Please use the link in the checklist to send the form to your daughter's school.

For applicants to Kindergarten and Class I, the ISAAGNY Confidential School Report Form is available on the online portal and can be sent directly to your early childhood director.

4. Request recommendations

Applicants to Class II through XI:  Request recommendations from your daughter's English and math teachers.  You will find the link in the online application checklist.

5. Complete testing, where applicable

Applicants to Kindergarten and Class I are no longer required to take the ERB as part of the application process, and we request that applicants not send us ERB scores even if they have them. Applicants to Classes II–IV must take the ISEE Primary 2–4, and applicants to Classes V–XI must take the ISEE or the SSAT.

Tests are valid from April 1 of the prior school year; i.e., for the 2019–2020 admissions season, all tests must be taken after April 1, 2019.
