  2. Enter your username and password for the Nightingale website when prompted.

2. Visit Nightingale

As soon as we receive the online application, the admissions office will contact you within two weeks of submission to schedule interviews for you and your daughter. We will begin to schedule appointments the day after Labor Day. Parents of applicants for Kindergarten will be asked to schedule a parent-only tour and interview. Girls who are applying for Kindergarten will be asked to attend a playgroup at Nightingale.

Middle and Upper School applicants will tour the school with their parents and have an interview with a member of the admissions office. Candidates will return for placement work in math and English.

3. Request your daughter's school records

Request that your daughter's current school send school records directly to Nightingale. The school records request form will be available through the online application. Please submit this form to your daughter's school's staff so that THEY may send us her school report with this form attached to the official transcripts.

Applicants for Kindergarten and Class I only: Please click here to download the ISAAGNY Confidential School Report Form and have your early childhood director return it to Nightingale.

4. Request recommendations

Applicants to Class II through XII: Request recommendations from your daughter's English and math teachers. Recommendation forms are available through the online application. Your daughter's teachers should submit these forms directly to Nightingale.

5. Complete testing, where applicable

Applicants to Kindergarten and Class I are no longer required to take the ERB as part of the application process, and we request that applicants not send us ERB scores even if they have them. Applicants to Classes II–IV must take the ISEE Primary 2–4, and applicants to Classes V–XI must take the ISEE or the SSAT.

Tests are valid from April 1 of the prior school year; i.e., for the 2019–2020 admissions season, all tests must be taken after April 1, 2019.
