Applying to Nightingale is easy
On her first day at Nightingale, a kindergartener is welcomed by the head of school in front of the iconic blue doors, then accompanied to her classroom by a senior. From this moment forward, she is a valued member of the Nightingale community. To apply, follow the process below and complete each step by the included dates.
Kindergarten Application Dates
For Prospective Families
After you have clicked on Apply Now, select the blue "Create Account" link to create a username and password.
For Current Nightingale Families
Click on the Apply Now button. Enter your username and password for the Nightingale website when prompted.
Kindergarten applicants during the 2021–2022 admissions year for the 2022–2023 academic year must be five years old by September 1, 2022.
Schedule Virtual Parent/Guardian Interview
After you submit your application, you will have access to the appointment calendar to make an appointment for an online parent/guardian-only interview with a memember of our Admissions team. If you wish, you may also choose to be contacted by the Admissions office to schedule these appointments.
Schedule Virtual Student Assessment
Register and schedule your child for the Kindergarten Assessment. Learn about the Thinking and Engagement Assessment.
Request School Records
Request that your daughter's current school send school records directly to Nightingale. For applicants to Kindergarten, the ISAAGNY Confidential School Report Form is available on the online portal and can be sent directly to your early childhood director.
Schoolhouse Tours (Optional)
You will be sent a Schoolhouse tour in video format in late October. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Schoolhouse tours are not required. We hope to host in-person Schoolhouse tours for families beginning in mid to late October and we will update you via email as information becomes available.
Register for Our Admissions Events
The events are an excellent opportunity for prospective parents/guardians to learn about Nightingale by asking questions and engaging in dialogue with key faculty, administration, students, and parents.
