Apply to Middle School

Applying to Nightingale is easy.

Nightingale’s Middle School provides opportunities for students to establish strong, independent voices. Students immerse themselves in a broad based liberal arts curriculum, are exposed to a variety of STEAM experiences, and take on leadership roles inside and outside of the classrooms. They are challenged in an inclusive environment that teaches them to advocate for themselves and for others, as well as to question the status quo.

We recommend scheduling your Schoolhouse tour appointment before your family interview appointment.

3.

Schedule Virtual Family Interview

After you submit your application, you will have access to the appointment calendar to make an appointment for a family interview with a member of our Admissions team. We recommend that you schedule the schoolhouse tour appointment before your family interview appointment. An admissions officer will spend approximately 45 minutes with you and your student (virtually), learning more about your family. We will speak with the student first, and then separately with the parents/guardians. A Zoom link will be sent to you via email.

4.

Submit ISEE/SSAT Standardized Test Scores

All students applying to Classes V-XI are required to submit either SSAT or ISEE scores during the 2022-2023 admissions cycle. Scores are valid from April 1 of the prior school year; i.e., for the 2023--2024 academic year, all tests must be taken after April 1, 2022. To ensure Nightingale receives official score reports, Nightingale's ISEE school code is 333860 and SSAT code is 5340. Students are welcome to submit multiple score reports.

Score reports must be received no later than January 5, 2023.
