Schedule Virtual Family Interview

After you submit your application, you will have access to the appointment calendar to schedule a virtual family interview with a member of our Admissions team. An Admissions officer will spend 45 minutes with you and your daughter, learning more about your family. Ideally, we will speak with the student first, and then separately with the parents/guardians. You are welcome to virtually join us from different locations.

Schedule Online Math Assessment

After you submit your application, you will have access to the appointment calendar to schedule a time period to complete our Online Math Assessment. The applicant will have two weeks from the date which you have scheduled to complete the 45 minute online assessment.

Submit Student Essay

Respond to one ISAAGNY common essay question. Essay should not exceed 500 words. Submit the student essay via the online application checklist.

Submit Graded Writing Sample

Submit a graded writing sample from the 2021-2022 school year (preferably English). The writing sample should include teacher comments. Submit the graded writing sample via the online application checklist.

Submit Math & English Recommendations

Recommendations from your daughter's 2021-2022 math and English teachers are required for admission. Additionally, you are welcome to submit optional recommendations from your daughter's 2020-2021 math and English teachers, as well, due to the shift in learning environments throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. You will find the link for recommendation forms in the online application checklist.

Request School Transcripts

Request that your daughter's current school send school records directly to Nightingale. Schools should submit school records from the 2021-2022, 2020-2021, and 2019-2020 school years. The school records request form will be available through the online application checklist.

Submit ISEE/SSAT Standardized Test Scores (Optional)

At your own discretion, you may submit the ISEE or SSAT for admissions to Classes IX-XI. Scores are valid from April 1 of the prior school year; i.e., for the 2021-2022 academic year, all tests must be taken after April 1, 2021. To ensure Nightingale receives official score reports, Nightingale's school codes are ISEE code: 333860 and SSAT code: 5340.

Applicants who choose not to submit standardized testing scores will not be disadvantaged in our selection process. For those who do submit standardized testing results, scores will be used as one component of a holistic application review.

Schoolhouse Tours (Optional)

You will be sent a Schoolhouse tour in video format in late October. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Schoolhouse tours are not required. We hope to host in-person Schoolhouse tours for families beginning in mid to late October and we will update you via email as information becomes available.

Register for Our Admissions Events

The events are an excellent opportunity for prospective parents/guardians to learn about Nightingale by asking questions and engaging in dialogue with key faculty, administration, students, and parents.
