A World Within the Schoolhouse

Held annually, Cultural Night invites families into the Schoolhouse for a special evening, where the building transforms into a global hub of cultural destinations. Students and families enjoy a wide range of activities, performances, and an international potluck dinner.

This year’s theme, “One World, One Feast: A Tapestry of Tastes and Traditions,” gave Nighthawks the chance to embark on a journey with passports in hand, exploring more than 15 spaces representing different destinations. Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Cultural Night spectacular!

“Cultural Night reminds us that belonging begins when people feel seen. One of the greatest strengths of the Nightingale community is the rich diversity of cultures, traditions, and perspectives that each student and family contributes. Through the sharing of food, stories, and traditions, we celebrate that diversity while strengthening the connections that bring us together. When students experience that kind of belonging, they gain the confidence to participate fully, take intellectual risks, and engage more deeply in the life of the school. Cultural Night is a powerful reminder that when students see their own stories and traditions reflected at school, our whole community becomes stronger," Parents Association President Aruna Chavali P’26 P’28 said.
