From the Andes to the Amazon, Class III students have been busy exploring South America! This winter, they worked in teams to research the cultures, histories, governments, economies, and environments of Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela of their assigned country.

Recently, families and Nightingale community members were invited to attend the culmination of this capstone project—the South American Summit—which combined their skills learned in English, social studies, and Spanish throughout the year. Dressed in their sharpest “professional attire,” Class III students hosted a vibrant celebration of learning, language, and South American culture!
