Fall Season G.O.A.T. Award Winner: Ashi B. '26

Ashi wins the fall season G.O.A.T. (Greatest of All Time) Award

Ashi B. '26 had an incredible season for the varsity cross country team and quickly became the runner everyone in our league had their eye on. She set the pace for the Nighthawks all fall, starting with a strong ninth place finish at the Six Flags Invitational, an event that brought in more than 160 athletes from several states. She followed that up with another impressive performance at the Manhattan Invitational, finishing near the front of a field of over 170 runners.

At the AAIS Championships, Ashi won the individual title, finishing first overall and proving she was the top runner in the league this year. She carried that momentum into the NYSAIS Championships, where she placed third against the strongest independent-school runners in New York.

That finish earned her a spot in the New York State Federation Championships, one of the highest achievements in New York high school cross country. Throughout the season, Ashi ran with confidence and grit, and her steady leadership made a huge impact on the team.
