Salsa & Storytelling: Celebrating Latine and Hispanic Heritage Month

From September 15 to October 15, Nightingale celebrated Latine and Hispanic Heritage Month across all three divisions with storytelling, research, music, and Salsa dancing!

Students in Lower, Middle, and Upper School honored the rich traditions and contributions of Latine and Hispanic communities through dedicated assemblies—highlighted by student Spanish introductions to kick off the MS and US gatherings, and a live performance by the all-women Salsa band Lulada Club in Lower School.

The celebrations extended into the classroom and beyond, with Middle School Spanish classes dancing alongside guest instructor Joselyne Salomon and adults gathering for a community celebration.

We love seeing our community learn, dance, and connect through shared traditions! ✨
