Students Analyze Primary Sources From the Past
Class IX Global History students recently examined primary source excerpts from travelers and traders to learn more about the Indian Ocean world. As part of their unit, Worlds Overlap: Global Trade Routes in Africa & Asia, students analyzed firsthand accounts to gain insight into the people, cultures, and exchanges that shaped trade networks across Africa and Asia. By engaging with historical sources, students are developing their skills in interpreting evidence and understanding how trade connected societies across regions.
