During yesterday’s assembly period, Upper Schoolers had the chance to showcase their talents to their US peers and three faculty judges. The performances featured:

• Adalia F. ’27, Zoe L. ’27, Eden J. ’27, Lucy W. ’27, and Cece B. ’27 performed "Paparazzi" by Lady Gaga on strings

• Shrujana I. ’26 sang “You'll Be Back” from Hamilton

• Izzy H. ’28 sang and played "Piano Man" by Billy Joel on the piano and harmonica

• Victoria S. ’26 sang "Jersey Giant" by Tyler Childers while playing the guitar

• Anjali L. ’27 & Emme S. ’28 performed an original rap

• Izzy K. ’28, Noemi R. ’28 and Aima W. ’28 performed an original dance

• Olivia E-S. ’27 performed Frederic Chopin Revolutionary Etude in C minor on the piano

Each judge then gave a score between 1-10. Once the numbers were tallied, the top three winners were announced. Victoria S. ’26 placed third, Olivia E-S. ’27 placed second, and Izzy H. ’28 took home first place.
