Climate Advocates in Upper School
This past Saturday, several students attended the Youth Climate Action Alliance at Avenues The World School, joining peers from across the city for a day centered on sustainability, collaboration, and environmental advocacy. The conference encouraged students to think critically about how young people can help shape a more sustainable future. Aima W. ’28 represented Nightingale in two separate showcases, speaking about her leadership on the Upper School environmental board and the environmental initiatives taking place at Nightingale. Jenna E. ’27, Ann Z. ’28, Ailey W. ’28, and Lakshmi G. ’28 also joined the conference, supporting their classmate and engaging in conversations about climate action and community impact.
