This spring, Nightingale’s after school enrichment program, Thinkery, welcomed two special guest speakers. Director of Auxiliary Programs Elizabeth Anoff presented about Ghana in celebration of Ghana's 68th Independence Day, describing its diverse culture, traditions, and music in her presentation titled, Akwaaba! Celebrating Ghana: The Heartbeat of West Africa. In April, students welcomed Trustee Sallie Permar, M.D., Ph.D, who discussed health in her presentation titled How You and Your Pediatrician Work Together for Your Health.
