Harmonizing in Class V Chorus

A small section of Class V chorus meets bi-weekly as well as weekly in their full chorus class. Students have been working on a familiar song from Lower School called “Miawoe Zo,” and Ewe welcome song from Ghana. Now that the students are in Class V chorus, they are working on building choral skills, such as singing in two and three-part harmony using familiar songs. In this particular class, students had learned a higher harmony part that accompanies the main melody, and were practicing this new tune. Pictured are four brave sixth graders who volunteered to sing the song at the front of the room in harmony together. These students did a phenomenal job!
