The Circuit Playground
In Class VI computer science, students explore physical computing. In this hands-on course, students bring code into the physical world using the Adafruit Circuit Playground microcontroller. By programming lights, sensors, sounds, motors and buttons, they explore how input and output work together to create responsive systems. Students are currently learning how to program small computers that live in our physical world—computers that can light up, move, make sounds, and sense our environment. During this first lesson, using a Circuit Playground Express Microcontroller, students learned how to program the circuit playground's built in outputs (light and sound).
