Upper Schoolers Organize Executive Functioning Program for Peers
Every Tuesday during Enrichment this school year, sophomores Ella D. ’27 and Carolina L. ’27 host a workshop for their Middle School peers. Each week, students learn and engage in activities like peer tutoring, planner organization, and study strategies.
“As peer tutors in regular subjects, we found that working with others in a supportive, peer-led way was incredibly effective,” Carolina and Ella explained. “This inspired us to create a space where middle schoolers could develop important skills for high school, like how to organize a planner, maintain a consistent schedule, prepare for tests, and find study strategies that work for them. We wanted to approach these topics in a friendly, casual way, sharing what we've learned through our own experiences…It’s been incredibly rewarding to see the growth and progress of everyone involved and we continue to see new faces every week.”
