ISRP Students Visit CUNY's Advanced Science Research Center

Earlier this month, Class XI students in the Independent Science Research Program visited the Advanced Science Research Center at CUNY. They were given a special tour of the lab facilities and were able to meet with and talk to scientists working in the fields of neuroscience, nanoscience and microfluidics, and structural biology. They also visited the environmental engineering lab and learned about the flood sensors that the team and community members constructed and deployed all over to NYC. In addition, they explored the IlluminationSpace exhibit, which had interactive demos in the five interconnected research focus disciplines at the ASRC: neuroscience, nanoscience, photonics, structural biology, and environmental science.
