Class VIII French students delivered an outstanding performance on stage at the Lycée Français of New York. Leading up to their performance, students worked with coach Ms. Faustine Kooijmann, who trained the students for five hours, focusing on pronunciation, gestures, and acting tones to help them prepare for the performance. The script, titled "Ciel Bleu et les 10 esthéticiennes" was written by Class VII students from a partner school in Chamonix, France. Before receiving the play, students participated in a Zoom session with the Chamonix students to introduce themselves and exchange ideas in French. Competing exclusively against Francophone and bilingual schools, they showcased their talent with remarkable poise. A special congratulations to Blythe, who won the award for Best Acting Performance!
