Earlier this week, Upper School's Science Seminar course welcomed guest speaker Elias Pavlopoulos, PhD, who is both an accomplished scientist—with neuroscience expertise—and a biotech and pharma consultant for investors. In his guest lecture, Dr. Pavlopoulos discussed the current landscape of pharmaceutical discovery, and the cutting edge advances in science and technology that are allowing for much more rapid discovery, such as organ-on-chip platforms.
