Mr. Howell’s Class VII and X advanced French students attended Tonight with the Impressionists where they were able to take a tour of the first impressionist exhibition (1874) in Nadar’s studio. There, they met renowned artists such as Claude Monet, Auguste Renoir, Berthe Morisot, Paul Cézanne, Camille Pissarro and Edgar Degas, who shared firsthand accounts of their lives and work.
